MR.2- The system will gather data in a timely manner.

MR.3- The user will be able to see data analytics of long-term operations.

MR.4- The system will be able to be implemented in most factories.

MR.5- The system will alert the user of out of normal data values.

MR.6- The system will alert the user if the system is no longer gathering data.

MR.7- The system will have the ability to pick which data points are out of range.

MR.8- The system will be small enough to not interfere with factory activities.

MR.9- The system will be low maintenance.

MR.10- The system must be cheaper than upgrading to a smart factory and employing someone to walk around and check the dials.

ENGINEERING

ER 1.1- The system will be 80% accurate within +/-1 degree

E.R 1.2- The system will be 90% accurate within +/- 2 degrees.

E.R 1.3- The system will work with multiple circular dials with one needle after calibration.

ER 2.1- A picture must be taken in under 5 seconds.

E.R 2.2- The image processing will take less than 20 seconds.

E.R 2.3- The data will be pushed to the cloud in less than 10 seconds

ER 3.1 – The user will be able to see the graph on the website within 30 seconds of data being received by AWS.

ER 3.2- The user will be able to access specific data points from the past 24 hours, and averages from previous days.

ER 4.1- The camera unit will be able to mount 5-15 centimeters away from the dial.

ER 4.2- The system will be able to sustain in temperatures from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius for the camera unit

ER 4.3- The system will be able to sustain in temperatures from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius for the gateway unit.

ER 4.4- The weight of the camera unit won’t exceed 1/2 pound.

ER 5.1- The system must alert the specified user that data was out of normal range in 2 minutes by text.

ER.6.1- If data is not received by the gateway unit3 in <30 seconds, send a text alert.

ER 7.1- The system will have the ability to choose a minimum and maximum range for ‘normal’.

E.R 7.2- The system will recognize the data point as outside of the range in <30 seconds.

ER 8.1- The gateway unit will be less than 16 cm x 10 cm x 8 cm.

ER 8.2- The camera unit will be less than 5 cm x 6 cm x 5 cm to not interfere with the dial.

ER 9.1- The gateway unit will be able to plug into a regular 120V AC outlet.

ER 9.2- The camera unit will be able to plug into a regular 120V AC outlet.

ER 10.1- The gateway unit must be less than $400.

ER 10.2- The camera unit must be less than $100.
